The people of Ayr Ontario are in mourning today after the tragic news that Ayr Centennials captain of the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League, Eli Palfreyman passed away at the North Dumfries Community Complex Tuesday night.
Palfreyman was playing in a game, according to the Twitter feed of the Township of North Dumfries when the tragedy took place. His passing was confirmed in a team statement this morning:
