The Boston Bruins head coach Bruce Cassidy unfortunately confirmed today that the team will be without two key players for today's game. Recently acquired Hampus Lindholm and star forward David Pastrnak will both be absent due to injury. Both players are vital for the success of the Bruins so it will be tough to replace them for today's game.
Pastrnak who has 38 goals, 71 points in 69 games this season has been missing since Monday after suffering an injury against the Columbus Blue Jackets. The scary part is, Cassidy has not said when they expect him to return.
Lindholm was injured in the game against the Red Wings on Tuesday in the second period. Both players missed Friday's game against the Tampa Bay Lightning and both have no updates to when we will see them in the lineup again.
Cassidy: No Pastrnak or Lindholm tonight. Josh Brown will play on the third D pair. Otherwise, lineup remains the same from Friday's win over Tampa Bay. Conor Ryan (@ConorRyan_93) April 10, 2022
