Perry's NHL Future Revealed After Meeting With Bettman
After a scheduled meeting with Gary Bettman on Tuesday new reports are coming out that have confirmed the future of Corey Perry within the NHL. The reports have confirmed that Perry has been deemed eligible to play immediately if signed.
Corey Perry, whose contract was terminated by the Chicago Blackhawks on Nov. 30, met Tuesday with NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman and now is eligible to sign with other teams.
Perry has been out of hockey for a couple of months now after the incident that got him released from the Blackhawks. Now with the Bettman stamp of approval, it is likely the Perry gets scooped up by a contending team in need of a veteran presence.
As of now, Perry has not signed or talked to teams but if those reports begin to circulate we will provide them to you.
