Instead of racking up the skates, Chris Chelios is racking up the dress shoes.
Retiring From the Booth ?
It appears he may not be wanted back by ESPN. Reasons for this could be feedback from the fans, or an unwillingness to agree on a contract.
He could easily get another job at Sportsnet, TNT or any other sport media company. The guys is a hall of fame legend. When he talks, people listen.
Perhaps he's just done with hockey and wants to take a moment to spend some time with family and friends.
If that's the case, that choice is very much respected by the hockey community.
