BREAKING: Eastern Conference Rivals Complete A Trade
In breaking news, these two Eastern Conference rivals ave just completed a trade.
Sabres and Blue Jackets Complete a Trade
As first reported by Elliotte Friedman, and confirmed by Coby Maeir, the Columbus Blue Jackets and the Buffalo Sabres have just completed a trade that will send Eric Robinson from the Blue Jackets to Buffalo.
I can confirm that the Blue Jackets are trading Eric Robinson to the Buffalo Sabres, as @FriedgeHNIC first reported. #CBJ
On a plane, so details sketchy, but hearing Buffalo and Columbus have been talking about Eric Robinson. It makes sense.
It has not yet been revealed what the details of the trade are, however, with only one name known, it is likely that the Blue Jackets will acquire a future draft pick for Robinson.
Robinson has 1 goal in 7 games played this season with the Blue Jackets. This is likely part of a longer-term plan for the Blue Jackets to retool.
