Last night the Edmonton Oilers were taking on the LA Kings and Evander Kane caught Kings Sean Durzi with a completely unnecessary hit, nevermind a dirty hit like he delivered. Kane was only assessed a 2 minute minor for the play.
The National Hockey League Department of Player Safety has fined Kane $5,000 which is the maximum allowed under the CBA.

Evander Kane with an incredibly dirty hit on Sean Durzi. How its only a 2 minute minor is completely over my head. #GoKingsGo pic.twitter.com/i2eRRWlB8h Pavel 📊🇺🇦 (@pavelrusm) April 8, 2022
