BREAKING: Gary Bettman Makes A Major Exception In Naming Connor Bedard's Replacement
Connor Bedard was initially selected to go to the 2024 all-star game but Gary Bettman decided that his replacement would be somebody not from the Chicago Blackhawks.
Blackhawks To Have No All-Star Representative
Earlier this season, Connor Bedard went down with injury. Later on, it was announced that he was selected to be an all-star as the representative for the all-star game. With him being sidelined, the NHL needed to name a replacement and they just announced who it would be.
The Chicago Blackhawks will now have nobody representing them at the upcoming all-star game. While unfair to them, it is fair to Connor and Trocheck as Bedard's replacement likely would have been Jason Dickinson who has performed worse than either Trocheck or Connor.
Bedard remains in recovery and will likely return from his jaw surgery a bit after the all-star weekend.
