The Montreal Canadiens have made a trade with the Buffalo Sabres involving one of their prospects.

The Buffalo Sabres have traded one of their prospects to the Montreal Canadiens
TRADE: #GoHabsGo acquire forward Filip Cederqvist to #LetsGoBuffalo for future considerations
The 23-year old Cederqvist was drafted in the fifth round in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft by the Buffalo Sabres but has not quite developed to the liking of the Sabres.
He currently has one goal and four assists in 19 games with the Rochester Americans of the AHL and will most likely join the Laval Rockets.
