The Colorado Avalanche haven't seen their captain on the ice since winning the Stanley Cup, but that may now seemingly change.
Landeskog returns to the ice
While there were fears from some that captain Gabriel Landeskog's career may be over after some serious injuries, he may have alleviated some of those doubts today.
This is a development.
Gabriel Landeskog is skating.
There's been no further update when it comes to his potential timetable for return or even when his target date is, but after undergoing serious surgery on his right knee, this in of itself is a major positive.
In 738 games with the Avalanche, their long-time captain has notched 248 goals and 571 points and has been a fantastic leader for the organization, and the Avalanche faithful will be hoping he can get back onto the ice with plenty of time left in his career at just 31-years of age.
