NHL insider Frank Seravalli revealed recently that the Utah Hockey Club may be willing to part ways with one of their veterans at the trade deadline.

The Utah Hockey Club has been an inconsistent team in their inaugural season, not good enough to go all in for a playoff run, but not bad enough to tear it down either.

The team is currently 5th place in the Central Division, six points out of a playoff spot and they have six games left before the trade deadline passes.

As such, it is crunch time, and time for the organization to decide what direction they want to go this season.

Most likely, the team won't make any huge moves either as buyers or sellers, but they will almost certainly make a few smaller trades.

According to Frank Seravalli, one of those deals could include Lawson Crouse.

Crouse, 27, has been with the organization his entire career dating back to the 2015 draft when the Arizona Coyotes selected him 11th overall.

He went on to play 504 games with the Coyotes, putting up 103 goals and 197 points before the team was relocated to Utah.

He remains the franchises' longest-tenured player with 559 total games played for them.

He has been a consistent depth scorer as well, putting up 20 goals in each of the last three seasons.

However, he has struggled since the move to Salt Lake City, as he only has 8 goals and 12 points through 55 games this season.

As such, he likely will not demand much on the trade market, but could still garner a mid-round pick or a prospect in return.

We will just have to wait and see how the next few games play out for Utah. If the team suddenly gets very hot or very cold, it could impact how they handle the trade deadline, and whether or not Lawson Crouse gets moved.
