BREAKING: NHL Player Safety has SUSPENDED Evander Kane
Just over a minute into last nights game between the Edmonton Oilers and Colorado Avalanche, Evander Kane crosschecked Nazem Kadri from behind and sent him into the boards. Kadri would leave the game with an injury and is rumoured to be in a cast.
The NHL Department of Player Safety announced earlier today that Evander Kane would be having a phone hearing for his hit, which because of it being a phone hearing it is less than 5 game suspension.
It was just announced that Evander Kane will be suspended for one game:
