It's been one of the most exciting years for the waiver-wire ever this season. We've seen multiple first round picks be put on waivers and even some former top 3 picks. Most recently we saw a Stanley Cup champion be put on and clear waivers.
Yesterday we saw two players get claimed off the waiver wire, one of which was one of the teams best prospects.
Today, the Minnesota Wild announced that they've put forward Joseph Cramarossa on unconditional waivers for the purpose of contract termination.
Cramarossa was a former 2011 round 3 #65 overall by Anaheim Ducks and has bounced around the Ducks, Vancouver Canucks and now Minnesota Organization between the AHL and NHL for awhile now.
If the 30 year old Cramarossa clears waivers, his contract will be terminated, and he will be free to sign where he'd like.
