It was a crazy game between the New Jersey Devils and New York Islanders today. When Devils defenceman Pk Subban uncharacteristically went after Islanders Oliver Wahlstrom, after Wahlstrom laid a huge hit on New Jersey Devils best player Jack Hughes.
Subban then lost it on Wahlstrom going Floyd Mayweather on him earning 27 minutes in penalties and getting the boot from the game from the officials.
The Islanders were not at all pleased with how Subban conducted himself in that exchange, but before they could get any measure of revenge on Subban the Official's tossed Subban.
Following the game Islanders head coach Barry Trotz would appear to mock Subban when he insinuated that the Devils defenseman was lucky the officials removed Subban before the Islanders got them some payback.
Islanders coach Barry Trots was asked about the incident regarding PK Subban to which Trotz replied,
"He was very fortunate he got kicked out of the game."
I'm sure this chapter isn't over with Subban. He could have a long night the next time he plays the Islanders.
