With the rise of COVID cases in and around the Montreal Canadiens have officially announced some changes to their media policy.
"Habs announce: Due to enhanced sanitary measures and spikes in COVID-19 cases, media availabilities with players and coaches will all be conducted by virtual means via the Zoom application until further notice. Schedule for the upcoming days will be shared with the media shortly."
These measures combined with the provincial restrictions have been put in place to try and alleviate some of the cases.
These restrictions essentially place the Canadiens back at square one to last years COVID shortened season, despite the vaccination status of the team and employees.
