The New York Rangers have never been a very good team when it comes to player development. It appears that has become the case as the Rangers appear poised to trade another high end draft pick.
According to an NHL source the Rangers appear poised to move on from #1 overall pick Alexis Lafreniere.
Source tells me teams have started calling on #NYR Alexis Lafrenière, doesn't look like any move is coming in the next few days though. Also told if a deal were to happen the Rangers are looking for a first and/or a top end player.
This will be an interesting situation to follow as the Rangers will look to add at the deadline, and could include Lafreniere in a deal.
