David Pastrnak is the Boston Bruins star player. He's close to entering his prime, but for some reason the Bruins and Pasta have been unable to come to an agreement on a new deal. You'd think from both parties sides they'd be able to get a deal done, but that doesn't appear to be the case.
Before the season David made it clear he wanted the situation in Boston to be a lot clearer before he committed long term. More than anything Pastrnak wants to win a Stanley Cup and he appears poised to do whatever it takes to achieve that goal.
Pastrnak's agent JP Barry sat down with Pierre LeBrun to discuss an extension and the news isn't overly promising for Bruins fans.
I've been in regular discussions with Don about our respective positions for a few months. We remain apart at this juncture. We will continue to negotiate.
The situation in Boston is one to watch.
