A day ahead of the NHL trade deadline, Boston Bruins general manager Don Sweeney signed a 33-year-old free agent to a one-year deal.

After the injuries to Brad Marchand and Charlie McAvoy, as well as the Trent Frederic trade, it seems evident that the Bruins aren't planning their trade deadline like a team expecting to reach the playoffs.
With only a day to go before the trade deadline, fans are eager to see what Don Sweeney is planning.
The team just announced a new roster move, signing one of their AHL players to a contract.
Indeed, the Bruins agreed to the terms of a one-year, two-way deal with the 32-year-old player Tyler Pitlick, valued at $775,000.
