Carolina Hurricanes May Get Shocking Reinforcement for Conference Finals
The Carolina Hurricanes are not messing around this year. After beating the Islanders in six games, they demolished the Devils in five. Now, they're taking on the Florida Panthers, who also proved themselves by eliminating two cup contenders: the Bruins and the Leafs.
What's impressive about Carolina is that they did all this without one of their best players.
Carolina Hurricanes May Get Shocking Reinforcement for Conference Finals
Teuvo Teräväinen has been sidelined since the second game against the Islanders due to a hand injury that forced him to have a surgery.
Some good news was just reported about his health that Canes fans will be happy to hear.
Here's what Teräväinen said during an interview, as reported by Cory Lavalette:
"I thought for sure I was done, but the doctors did a pretty good job and it looks like I'm getting back pretty soon, so that's pretty awesome."
No details about the precise timing of his return have surfaced yet, but news is expected sooner rather than later about the Finnish forward.
We'll keep you updated about any new developments regarding him.
