When a prospect gets drafted, yes its a huge accomplishment to him, but its also a huge family accomplishment as well. It shows the on the parents who spent countless time and money to get that hockey player to where he is today.
When Maveric Lamoureux was drafted the thr Arizona Coyotes last night, the ESPN cameras caught the parents going in for a celebratory kiss, which caught mom and dad swapping tongues .. and the crew loved it!
The parents must have thought this was a kiss cam at the game. Maveric played last season for Drummondville where he scored 24 points in 54 games. Expect the 6'7 player to take a few years to get to the NHL, but he has a bright future ahead of him!
