According to Elliotte Friedman the Nashville Predators have inked Mattias Ekholm to a 4 year contract extension with an annual cap hit of $6,250,000. Ekholm has played his entire NHL career in Nasvhille and this deal will take him to the age of 36.
Ekholm had 23 points in 46 games last season.
