We all know hockey is without a doubt a very intense game and things can happen during games when tempers flare. Case-In-point during last night's game between the Edmonton Oilers and Minnesota Wild.
This game had a playoff feel to it and Edmonton Oilers Forward Evander Kane was very active, first off laying a big hit Wild's forward Joel Eriksson in the corner to stir things up.
After that with with the score 5-1 Wild, Oilers Kailer Yamamoto and Wild's Matt Zuccarello started pushing and shoving. Kane would then take a shot at the Wild's best player Kiril Kaprisov which drew mayhem and Ryan Hartman would try to fight Evander Kane.
Tempers flare and during the heat of the moment Ryan Hartman gave Evander the one finger salute. After the game it discussed with the media with both Kane and Hartman giving quotes.
«It goes to show, we had five guys in there. They didn't have one guy in there to help him,» Hartman said, according to The Athletic. «I don't think any of their guys are going to defend him.»
