The Toronto Maple leafs were taken to school last night by the Tampa Bay Lightning beating them like they owed them money 8-1. In games like this you gotta stick together and find anything good you can out of this. But unfortunately it looks like the Leafs players aren't a collective unit.
One of the unwritten rules is you stick together and that includes jumping into battles for eachother. It looks like Willam Nylander or "Willy Styles" as Joe Thorton nicknamed him does not believe in that rule. During tonights slaughter, with the score 4-0 things got going in the leafs end with everyone jumping into a scrum, well not everyone, Toronto Maple leafs forward William Nylander was being a spectator while the rest of his linemates got involved.
To no surprise Leafs fans clearly doing his best impression of Casper the friendly ghost are making some tweets on social media and most aren't nice. It will be interesting to hears Nylander's response when the media gets to ask him about tonight.
