Florida Panthers make incredible gesture to visiting Jonathan Toews! Pure Class by Florida!

It was a special night for one of the greatest players of this generation from the Chicago Blackhawks Jonathan Toews.
The 33 year old Toews played in his 1,000th NHL game last night for the visiting Chicago Blackhawks, but was given a huge ovation by the fans in attendance in the Florida Panthers Arena. Toews returned to the Blackhawks lineup this season after battling some serious health issues that made some think Toews' playing days were over.
Toews has done it all in hockey after being drafted 3rd overall in 2006 by Chicago. He has lead his team to 3 Stanley Cups and has represented Canada on numerous occasions winning multiple gold medals.
Toews has scored 355 goals and has 489 assists all with the Blackhawks and has a impressive +186 rating. Toews is one of the NHL's most respected players and will definitely be named in the NHL hall of fame when he calls it a career.
