Today Elliotte Friedman and Jeff Marek spoke and shared some very intriguing news. Both Friedman and Marek shared that the belief is that the although the Flyers fired Alain Vigneault the belief is that the Flyers problems are on the ice and not behind the bench.
Both Friedman and Marek believe the Flyers are going to make an on ice move next and both expect it to be a very big move with each man naming one possible candidate to be moved.
The two names suggested Ivan Provorov and Claude Giroux
With Giroux's contract expiring at the end of the season he could be a key piece for a contending team if he were willing to waive his no movement clause. While Provorov has 3 years remaining after this season on his current contract.
