No one likes to see a hockey player nor anyone for that matter injured, and this is definitely one of those cases.

This former Stanley Champion has been battling through quite a few injuries in his career and this might be one of the worst yet.

Michal Kempny was traded to the Washington Capitals in 2018 from the Chicago Blackhawks and went on to be a major contributor in their stanley cup run.

After battling a few injuries, the Capitals ended up letting him go to free agency this season, where he was picked up by the Seattle Kraken. After just a few games, the Kraken and him decided they needed to part ways, so they terminated his contract and he left to play over in Europe.

In a game between Sparta Praha and Litvinov on Friday Kempny was cut on his left leg, and it bled so much it soaked right through his sock.

Kempny left the game on a stretcher and went immediately to the hospital

He did return though in time for the third period, but of course the doctors did not allow him to play.

«Michal came from the hospital before the third period and still wanted to play, but of course the doctors didn't allow it,
