When the season began a lot of talk surrounded the Flyers star forward and captain Claude Giroux. Now that the Flyers find themselves in the bottom 10 teams in the league and 2-6-2 in their last 10 games those voices seem to be getting louder.

Giroux is an unrestricted free agent at the end of this season so naturally there has been some talk about Giroux waiving his no movement clause to facilitate a trade.

Giroux shared the following thoughts on the matter.

"I'm not worried about that right now. I'm just worried about games coming up. We're in a hole right now and thinking about that stuff is not going to help the team get out of this. I've got a lot of confidence in this group."

"We know in our locker room that we can turn this around," Giroux, the Flyers captain, said. "Next two games coming up here at home, that's going to be huge for us. We're playing good teams. We've got to come out and play hard and give ourselves a chance to win here."

The Flyers will start a stretch 5 games in 7 days starting Sunday with games against Tampa Bay, Colorado, New Jersey, Vegas and Arizona. If the Flyers can't turn this around soon the noise is going to get even louder.
