Justin Holl takes DUMBEST penalty at an even dumber time (video)

The Maple Leafs are one of those teams who have been plagued with injuries this season. Their defence has been depleted and it's amazing how they're still managing to win games. At the moment they are missing Morgan Reilly, TJ Brodie, Jake Muzzin, Carl Dahlstrom, Jordie Benn and now even Victor Mete went down during last nights game against the Stars.

This is making some of their players play further up in the lineup than the team would like, and it's causing them to make mistakes.

Justin Holl has been one of those defenceman that has made Maple Leafs fans pull their hair out at times, and last night was another one of those examples.

The Maple Leafs were on the penalty kill already after veteran defenceman Mark Giordano took a delay of game penalty, and during the PK, Justin Holl decided he was going to catch a puck and try and baseball throw it out of the zone.

Players make mistakes under pressure, it happens to everyone, but Maple Leafs fans have been quick to point out that this is something that is happening consistently to Justin Holl.

Luckily, the Stars did not score on the 5on3, and Matt Murray stood on his head to pitch a shutout.
