Incase you didn't hear the tragic news, New York Islanders Legend Mike Bossy passed away last night after a battle with lung cancer at the young age of 65.
Bossy was such an amazing player and person, he did so much for the game of hockey and had fans all over the world.
The hockey world is devastated, but in one of those incredible coincidences, the Islanders are in Montreal, his hometown, for tonight's game and return of Canadiens goaltender Carey Price.
The Canadiens put together a tribute, one that was slightly delayed because the crowd was chanting, «Carey, Carey!»
With the family of Mike Bossy in attendance the Canadiens honoured Mike Bossy and his family.
Prior to the game, his daughter Tanya and his grand daughters attended the game and took part in the emotional tribute given to Mike Bossy.
