The President of the United States of America hosted the two-time Stanley cup winning Tampa Bay Lightning at the White House today. Despite the team winning three cups in their franchise history, this is the first time they've visted because in the 2004-05 season the lockout prevented it, and last season COVID prevented it.
But this is always a time for hilarious moments like when the President didn't know how to say Yzerman.
Joe Biden calls NHL Commisioner Gary Bettman «Gary Batman» and one of the players on the Lightning standing behind him starts cracking up.
This is a clip of President Bill Clinton not knowing how to say the name of NHL legend Steve Yzerman.
