MUST SEE - Sean Avery is also a pest in the court room apparently

Former NHLer Sean Avery was known as the pest during his playing days, and he even made Brad Marchand at times seem like a gentleman. Given what he showed in a New York courtroom on Thursday, that attitude has not changed during his retirement.
Avery is just as much a pest off the ice as he was on apparently. He was in court as he was accused of ramming his scooter into the door of a parked car back in 2019. For this, the former�New York Ranger�was charged with a misdemeanour of criminal mischief and the case has dragged on ever since.
The court system and judge aren't playing around with Avery, when he attended a virtual hearing two weeks ago, a judge told him that if he was not present for an in-person hearing in the near future, a warrant would be out for his arrest.
Avery chose to represent himself on this case, stating:
Your honour, I would like to request a jury trial.
Your honuor, I was told there was going to be a trial today. I flew in from California to attend this trial. I want a jury trial!
Jury trial! That's where we're having a problem. I don't need to accept a bench trial.
