The Philadelphia Flyers came into this season with so much hope. They did a lot of wheeling and dealing last offseason which brought them players like Ryan Ellis, Rasmus Ristolainen, Cam Atkinson & signing veteran Keith Yandle, along with the core they already had, it looked like they could really accomplish something great this season. Well, unfortunately they did not. Injuries plagued this team all season and they just couldn't recover.
brotherlypuck.com has compiled a list of trades, which are submitted by fans, that they think could fix the Philadelphia Flyers.
Some of them are hilarious.
Trade #1:
Provorov, Farabee, Hayes, Foerster, Frost + 1st round pick to Chicago for Kane & Debrincat.
Trade #2:
Konecny, York, Forst + 1st & 2nd to Calgary for Matthew Tkachuk
Trade #3:
Lindblom, Laughton, Ratcliffe, Foerster, Zamula + 1st round pick to LA Kings for Kopitar, Lemieux & Wagner.
Trade #4:
Konecny, Allison + 1st & 3rd round pick to San Jose Sharks for Timo Meier (first one that actually makes sense)
Trade #5:
Konecny, Forst, Fedotov + 1st round pick to Detroit Red Wings for Larkin (I think Flyers actually lose this one)
Trade #6:
Konecny, Frost, Lindblom + 1st round pick to Columbus Blue Jackets for Patrik Laine
Trade #7:
Provorov to the St. Louis Blues for Jake Neighbours + 1st & 4th round picks .... (how does this make them better?)
Trade #8:
Provorov, Frost + 2nd round pick to Winnipeg Jets in exchange for Pierre-Luc Dubois .... (okay maybe I can see it, but sending too much)
Trade #9:
Frost + 5th round pick to the Nashville Predators for Eeli Tolvanen .. (seems pointless)
Trade #10:
Konecny to the Colorado Avalanche for Samuel Girard ... (I dont see why)
