It's been known for awhile, but just last week it became official that the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Tampa Bay Lightning would be having a rematch of their best of 7 series that saw the Lightning win in 7 games last season.
This year, the Maple Leafs are hoping to win their first playoff series since 2004, and newcomer Matthew Knies has already joined in on the rivalry.
Knies joined the Maple Leafs last week after his team lost the NCAA championship game, and has since played in 2 games, registering 1 assist.
The NCAA championship took place at Amalie Arena, which just happens to be where the Tampa Bay Lightning play.
When asked if he was looking forward in returning for the playoffs, he said:
Matthew Knies on returning to the building where his Minnesota Golden Gophers lost in OT of the national championship game on Saturday:
"I don't like this rink, to be honest with you. It kind of stinks.
