The NHL has made it very clear to teams. If you are going to criticize our referees, they are going to fine you. The NHL has made it so officials are free from any criticism.
Last night Sheldon Keefe was furious over two non-calls and he let Wes Macaulay hear about it. The NHL wasn't having any of it because today according to Chris Johnston, the NHL announced a they have fined Keefe.
The NHL has fined #leafs coach Sheldon Keefe $25,000 for "demeaning conduct directed at the officials" during last night's game in St. Louis.
This is just more proof the NHL doesn't want any accountability for their mistakes. This is the NHL that Gary Bettman has built and it's proud of.
