With the NHL's holiday roster freeze officially over two teams have trimmed their roster after placing players on waivers. The Philadelphia Flyers placed Max Willman on waivers, while the New Jersey Devils again placed Andreas Johnsson on waivers.
Willman, 27, has played 9 games this season, but has only played 9 minutes per night. Willman has no points this season.
Johnsson, 28, has only played 2 game this season and has averaged less than 5 minutes per night. Johnsson clearly doesn't fit into the Devils plans. That inspite of his $3,400,000 salary.
