The Nashville Predators were looking to get back into the series with the juggernaut known as the Colorado Avalanche, who at the time led the series 2-0.
The league had been very inconsistent with Coaches Challenges on goals and we saw this again yesterday. The goal by Gabriel Landeskog is drawing criticism after being challenged for goalie interference by John Hynes.
Hynes is 3-2 on challenges this season, 0-2 on interference specifically.
So he has yet to win a challenge for goalie interference at all this year.
The goal is drawing controversy because Connor Ingram is clearly interfered with as he attempts to make the save. This play not only resulted in a Colorado goal, but in a powerplay which Nazem Kadri scored on almost immediately.
So what do you think was this goalie interference?
