REPORT: Gary Bettman gets CALLED OUT by Player Agent after a new stat was revealed about salaries

The National Hockey League continues to grow it's revenue year after year, but not at the same rate the other major sports leagues are. A stat revealed in the offseason showed that the NHL has fallen out of the ''big 4'' and many people are putting this blame on commissioner Gary Bettman.

Bettman is the face of the NHL and takes the brunt of everything to do with financials, and recently Allan Walsh called Bettman out on a stat that looks embarrassing compared to other Major Sports leagues.

There are no NHL players among the top 100 highest paid athletes in 2022. Just the way Gary's triple cap, hard salary cap was intended to operate.

Allan Walsh went on to talk and criticize the salary cap in the NHL and provided a graph showing the highest paid athletes of all time and the fact that no NHL players are in it.

The NHL is projected to bring in over $5 billion over last season, and sadly this is one of the lower earning leagues.

This graphic shows the top earners in each sport, and thankfully they added Tennis so Hockey wouldn't be the lowest one:
