Red Wings Forward Almost Killed in Sweden After Scary Accident
Red Wings rookie was almost killed by a train but miraculously survived.
Rookies Near Death Experience
Jonatan Berggren had an impressive rookie year. Scoring 28 points in 67 games in a very sheltered role, he showed solid development.
However, his NHL career and life was nearly ended after a scary scene.
Berggren had headphones on and did not hear the train coming. He was forced to dive for his life and witnesses claimed it was terrifying.
Thankfully, he is alright and will be further preparing for the 2023-24 NHL season.
Berggren will be looking for a larger role with the Red Wings next season and has proven himself as a star in every league except the NHL. Berggren was drafted in 2018 33rd overall and will likely be a top 9 player for the Red Wings next season.
