Defensemen Josh Morrissey has been a key piece for the Team Canada blue line at the Four Nations, but now he's been ruled out just minutes before the Finale, as Team Canada now scramble to get their lines in order ahead of what will be an incredibly tough contest.

Team USA are already without one of their top defenseman in Charlie McAvoy, and now, less than 30 minutes before the Championship Game of the Four Nations, Team Canada have suffered a brutal blow.

In a shock announcement, it has been revealed that Winnipeg Jets star Josh Morrissey has been ruled out of the game due to illness, with Thomas Harley set to replace him on the blue line.

Morrissey becomes the second Team Canada defenseman to miss a game this tournament due to illness, as Cale Makar missed the first matchup with the United States that resulted in a 3-1 victory for the US.

As a result, Harley will team up with Colton Parayko on the Canadian's second pairing, with the duo of Travis Sanheim and Drew Doughty rounding out a very depleted defensive group for Team Canada.

Still, the Canadians will be brimming with confidence with a loaded forward group that caught fire against Finland, and if they can get up to the aggressiveness and the physicality that the US brings, it will be a tight contest throughout.

Ultimately though, both teams are dealing with injuries and the results of some questionable roster calls coming into the tournament, but with so much talent still on both sides of the ice, this one should outdo the hype and the incredible moments that we saw in the round robin, with everything to play for in the Four Nations Face Off Championship Game.
