In the off season when Marc-Andre Fleury was traded from the Vegas Golden Knights it took a lot of convincing to get the net minder to accept a deal to the Chicago Blackhawks. With time winding down on Fleury's career it sounds like the next trade won't be as difficult to convince Fleury to be apart of though.

According to Dan Les Coulisses and their sources, Marc-Andre Fleury could be Colorado bound shortly. The Avalanche likely represent one of the best opportunities for Fleury to win another Stanley Cup, as the Avs currently sit 1st in the league in both points and points percentage.

Despite the Blackhawks' struggles Fleury is one of the few bright spots. He has posted a goal against average of 2.88 and a save percentage of .909 in 31 starts for the struggling Hawks. After their off season acquisitions of Seth Jones and Fleury the Hawks were expected to make some noise in the West but that hasn't been the case.

It's important to note that Fleury holds all the cards in this trade conversation as the veteran would likely refuse to report to any team that acquired him without his blessings. There are also logistical issues that will need to be overcome by the Avalanche as they'll need to move salary to fit Fleury into their salary cap.
