The San Jose Sharks currently sit just 2 points back of the final Wild Card Spot, but that isn't stopping the team from having more fun then they've had in previous years. That can especially be said for Tomas Hertl who hasn't hid his feelings about former teammate Evander Kane.
Back in November Hertl gave the following interview about Kane, who at the time was playing for the San Jose Barracude. You can clearly see Hertl isn't thrilled about the idea of playing with Kane.
Now Hertl is willing to share how much fun he's having this season in San Jose.
"I've enjoyed every moment in the locker room this year...The locker room this season is better than before."
That only real change in San Jose this past season it the departure of Kane, who recently signed with the Edmonton Oilers. Previously Tomas Hertl had actually shared he wasn't interested in signing a long-term deal with the Sharks, but as recently as September his tone has begun to change. Hertl is an unrestricted free agent this summer and will be looking to secure his financial future.
