San Jose Sharks trade Timo Meier

Timo Meier was anticipated to be traded by the San Jose Sharks before this year's Trade Deadline, but the timing of his move caught everyone off guard.
As per Pierre LeBrun of The Athletic, Meier has been traded by the San Jose Sharks to the New Jersey Devils. Meier, who is presently 26 years old, has tallied 31 goals and 21 assists in 57 games this season.
The return for the trade is currently unknown. The Devils are currently in second place in the Metro division.
