Oshie Welcomes Fantilli To The NHL
TJ Oshie has played over 1,000 total NHL games and is one of the more iconic top-six wingers in recent NHL history. Over the past few seasons, his play has started to decline. With this, Oshie still lays a hit here or there proving he still has got it.
In the Capitals preseason game against the Blue Jackets, Oshie laid a brutal hit on Adam Fantilli.
#ALLCAPS TJ OSHIE WELCOMES FANTILLI TO THE NHL
Fantilli and his stick went flying but what is most alarming about this play is how Fantilli saw Oshie coming right at him and did not brace for impact at all.
Fantilli was the projected 2nd overall pick but wound up falling to third to Columbus where he now plays. He is projected to spend the entire next year in the NHL.
