Tom Wilson is arguably the leagues best power forward. Currently this season Wilson has 23 points in 24 games, with a +/- of +14. We should also mention that Wilson does not have one single fight this season through 24 games.
While Wilson may not have the skill that a player like McDavid, MacKinnon or Crosby bring, he has the competitiveness and work ethic that would make him a valuable member of the Olympic team. Not everyone is needing for scoring, some players are needed to defend and kill penalties. Tom Wilson has proven for years now that he is a great penalty killer.
