The New Jersey Devils had a 13 game winning streak going into tonights game when they were hosting a Maple Leafs team that are basically limping into the rink.
The Devils scored the first goal of the game, which got disallowed, which looks as though Matt Murray was hardly touched by Nate Bastians skate.
The second disallowed goal is one of those debated topics as Matt Murray was way out of his crease and Tomas Tatar did not intentionally skate into Murray, Murray was turning around and skated into Tatar. Many believe that if a goaltender leaves his crease he should be fair game, especially considering if a goaltender initiates contact there is no problem, but if you initiate contact with a goaltender it's a penalty.
The third goal was a distinct kicking motion, this one was a legit call to get overturned, but those first two were definitely goals that should have counted.
