In what could be one of the best Stanley cup playoffs series in a long time, the Calgary Flames and Edmonton Oilers unite for the "Battle of Alberta." Unfortunately the Oilers didn't get the memo of what time the game was as the Flames would strike early scoring 2 goals in 51 seconds to start the game.
With the Flames already up 4-1 and Mike Smith being yanked for Mikko Koskinen, the Oilers would look to battle back. Unfortunately for the Oilers, Milan Lucic came to play as he loves this time of year. Lucic would find an opportunity to send a message to Connor McDavid that the Flames are here to play.
During the 1st period of tonight's game 1, Lucic saw McDavid and squashed him like a bug, causing a scrum. During the scrum Evander Kane would take a shot to the face of Milan Lucic. Lucic who loves this type of game would challenge Kane to a fight - we wont spoil the rest - see for yourself!
