Early in the second period of last nights game between the Chicago Blackhawks and Buffalo Sabres, Seth Jones had scored his 5th goal of the season, giving the Blackhawks a 4-0 lead over the Sabres. Just when everything looked like it was going to be clear sailing for the Blackhawks, Victor Olofsson scored a Powerplay goal which started the comeback.
By the end of the second period it was 4-3 Blackhawks. Just over 2 minutes into the third, the Sabres tied the game at 4. Both teams scored once more, making it a 5-5 tie going into the final minute of the game, where we saw this weird goal by Tage Thompson which turned into the game winner and caused Kevin Lankinen to lose his Sh*t.
