It's playoff hockey so emotions are hot.
No more so than in the tightly contested Boston Bruins and Carolina Hurricanes series which is currently tied at 2-2, with games 5 scheduled for tonight in Raleigh North Carolina at the PNC arena.
With tensions high players on both teams have been trading insults and unsportsmanlike conduct and Carolina defenseman Tony DeAngelo has been in the thick of all it.
When asked by media about Carolina losing both games in Boston, DeAngelo responded:
"There's no panic in our locker room. 2-2 series, and we're back in front of a much louder building than was in Boston, so we'll be fine."
While you have to give some credit to DeAngelo for taking on the role of public enemy number 1 in the Boston/Carolina series, you have to question whether an expansion team like Carolina really has a louder building than an original 6 team with rich history like Beantown.
Game 5 is tonight!
