It seems we are starting to see more and more freak situations in our beautiful game that cannot be explained. No one ever wants to see someone hurt, especially to this severity.
On Tuesday in a Finnish Elite League game, 24 year old Miro Nalli collapsed during the second period.
As you will see in the video below, Nalli was skating up the ice when he suddenly just falls. He tries to get himself up, but was clearly in some form of distress.
He finally manages to get to his feet, which he starts skating to the bench and collapses again.
According to reports, Nalli was unconscious after his second fall. Nalli was rushed to the hospital by ambulance.
The rumour floating around is that he was still suffering from a concussion he received earlier in the season.
