The 29 year old in his first season with the Oilers set career highs in goals (27) and points (54) while putting up an additional 11 goals and 16 points in the playoffs before getting swept by the Colorado Avalanche.
Today the Oilers had their end of season press conference in which Hyman had nothing but great things to say about the fanbase in Edmonton.
"Loudest rink I've played in for sure & just an incredible fanbase that's so supportive... it's amazing playing in front of fans like that."

Hyman spent the first 6 years of his career in Toronto before leaving in free agency, and it will be interesting to see how Leafs fans respond to Hyman's remarks. Hyman was loved by Leafs fans and was considered the only player who brought the physical hardworking mentality that has been lacking in the organization.
