Anaheim Ducks and LA Kings to launch rebrand with new jerseys next season

According to sources within the NHL, the LA Kings and Anaheim Ducks will be showcasing new jerseys with new primary logos to boot next season.

Several sources have confirmed today that both the Kings and Ducks will be debuting brand new jerseys next season. Reportedly, both teams are going to be embracing a modern version of a retro-design.

Both teams are reportedly going back to uniform designs from the 90s. For the Ducks, this means Mighty Ducks era. Perhaps no fanbase has waited for a rebrand longer than Ducks fans, as their current logo and Jerseys are frequently listed at the top of "worst of" lists.

They'll be re-working the 90s jerseys & logos with a modern twist and colours.

Icethetics, an X account focused on NHL jersey history, has revealed some details about the upcoming jerseys. He revealed that he has not seen the jerseys in their entirety, but he has seen the logos. As such, he has provided us with some details about the logos, confirming a Mighty Ducks theme for Anaheim and a Gretzky-era Kings logo, as well as an entirely new crown design.

I got a look at both logos and can say this:

🟠 #FlyTogether is a modernized version of the Mighty Ducks logo in orange, black and gold.

⚫️ #GoKingsGo is a modernized version of the Gretzky-era logo in black and silver with a new crown design inside.

Haven't seen jerseys yet.

This is truly an exciting time for Kings and Ducks fans, as well as collectors who like to have all the NHL jerseys. Be sure to stay tuned for the big reveal, which is expected sometime this summer.
